Central Park Wedding at Bethesda Terrace

This past February we had a lovely couple who traveled along with some of their closest friends…all the way from Australia to marry in the great NYC.

For most of the day it was just non stop torrential rain and we really were nervous of what to do if the rain didn’t stop in time.

Luckily just as the bride arrived the rain stopped!

We had the ceremony at The Bethesda fountain and it was just perfect.

These are a few of my favorites..you can click on the photos to enlarge.

We wish them many many years of happiness.

Ladies Pavilion in Central Park

Congratulations to Mark and Yvette who chose the Ladies Pavilion for their Central Park wedding.

It was just the two of them and it was perfect!

Photography began at their hotel, the famous Waldorf Astoria and the bride was treated to hair and makeup in her room.

The flowers for the couple were requested by  the groom and we delivered… Cream roses, Freesia and Thistles.

We planned this wedding in about 2 weeks and we had a couple of snowstorms in between!

However, on the day of the wedding the weather  was just perfect and the park  was practically empty. We had the pavilion and the surrounding area all to ourselves which never happens. This is a perk of a winter wedding in NYC “)

After the ceremony the couple along with our fantastic photographer Tanya traveled to Grand Central Station then stopped at Bryant park and the Public library for some fabulous photos… These are my favorite. 🙂

Central Park Wedding at Gapstow Bridge

Congratulations to Rachael and Jack our very first couple of 2016.

They choose Gapstow bridge as the backdrop for their central park wedding.

A true elopement (no one knew they were getting hitched!) We had a lot of fun despite the cold…the sun came out to help keep us warm.

We met them at the Plaza hotel and started our journey to the park on foot…

We absolutely loved our bride’s modern look.

I was crazy about the red shoes (and who wouldn’t be), but the boots were my favorite “)

Our very best wishes to them!

Central Park wedding at Ladies Pavilion

Ladies pavilion in Central Park  was the location that Carly and Howard from Australia chose for their wedding ceremony.

The bride’s parents accompanied the couple and served as witnesses.

We had another beautiful and sunny day for their December wedding.

Carly wore a beautiful column dresses with a veil and the groom wore a stylish grey suit.

Bride’s choice for her flowers were also ivory roses.

These are just a few of my favorites!

Wedding in NYC

Mark and Emily married at choose Bethesda Fountain for their Central Park Wedding this past December 12, 2015.

The couple traveled to New York on their own to have their wedding in Central Park and enjoy a fabulous holiday.

A very traditional couple as they chose from the groom to arrive first and wait for his bride.

Once she arrived and surprised him, they proceeded to walk to their ceremony site inside the park holding hands. Our photographer was there to capture it all.

The bride wore a pretty short ivory dress and purple shoes. Groom wore a very stylish suit and matching purple tie. Emily chose ivory roses for her bridal bouquet.

The weather was just perfect as we had the warmest December on record.

After the ceremony the couple and our photographer walked around the area for some final wedding photos.

These are just a few of my favorite shots!

Ireland!

I am so excited to announce that this coming January 9 and 10th I will in Dublin, Ireland at the Wedding Journal show.

It has long been a goal of mine to visit Ireland and showcase our work at one of the local weddings shows.

Reason why?…More that 50% of our past couples who  have chosen us to plan their wedding have traveled from Ireland and it has been such a pleasure.

Still it can cause couples of bit of stress and nerves to deal with a company so far away and with a person they have never met.. so why not come to them so we can explain what we do and offer and answer any questions they may have? Emails are good, but nothing beats meeting in person!

So I am looking forward to a wonderful stay in Ireland first as I have always wanted to visit …..  then I will be heading to the Citywest Complex in Dublin for what I am hoping will be a  great weekend.

If you are planning a wedding in NYC for 2016 or 2017 stop by and say hello 😀
