Brooklyn

This location is right across the river. We can take a ferry across or just go over the bridge via car or taxi.

Brooklyn is not far at all and the views from this pier are awesome!

I love my work 🙂

PS: the couple flew in from Australia and the Bride forgot her dress at home!!

Luckily I found her a dress. This is one of our wedding gows that we have available for rent.

The Highline

The High Line is a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. It is owned by the City of New York, and maintained and operated by Friends of the High Line. Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition. It is now the non-profit conservancy working with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to make sure the High Line is maintained as an extraordinary public space for all visitors to enjoy.

The High Line is located on Manhattan’s West Side. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District to West 34th Street, between 10th & 11th Avenues. The first section of the High Line opened on June 9, 2009. It runs from Gansevoort Street to West 20th Street. The second section, which runs between West 20th and West 30th Streets, opened June 8, 2011.

This park would work beautifully for those in search of a unique location for their wedding.

Enjoy!

All the way from Florida

Just a few days ago we had a fantastic wedding at Wagner’s Cove for a lovely couple who flew in from Florida. It was cold the day they arrived very cold but on their wedding day the sun shine and it was warm!! Unbelievably warm for a January day.

It was a lovely time and they were very happy and the best was all the cheers they received. Even though its a quiet and secluded location directly across the water far away you could still tell what was going on and people stopped to watch. Once they were declared the cheers and the clapping could be heard loud and a clear and the couple was very touched by the support.

We wish them all the happiness in the world and thank them for chosing our beautiful city for their special day.

I was asked today for more pictures of castle weddings. Please note the ceremony cannot take place inside the castle but the courtyard and the pavilion as is the terrace below can be used.

Here is one early summer 2011
