Get married in New York City!
Sometimes there is just nothing we can do!! It just rains.
This couple was awesome.. All the way from Ontario Canada its was the two of them and they were so happy and relaxed. It didnt rain until after the ceremony was over and we got some incredible shots right before the skies opened up. The couple were not upset at all and just went with it. The bride had a purple umbrella with her to go with the color scheme of the day.

This was a wedding due to take place on Bow Bridge. It was August… the hottest month of the year and well there we were at the park ready and willing, but melting!
We were all very aware it would be hot! Still the sun was just too much. So I decided at the last minute and seeing just how hot it was that I would suggest another spot..a spot with shade!!
So the groom said “Ok, if my bride is fine with it” So I ran over to the bride where I had her hidden from view and she said “YES please!”
So I moved the entire group to this little hut and even the violinist was happy 😀
Sometimes, we have to make little changes to improve on the experience of the day and well the park is just so beautiful.. its hard to pick a bad spot for a wedding.
Oh and a great thank you to that awesome best man who not only agreed right away we had to move but helped me gather the guests and moved them quickly to the new location. He even pinned the guests with their buttonholes!!

What a great day today was. It was hot, but not so much that we couldnt enjoy the park.
The couple was over the moon and we all cried. It really makes my day when I see just how happy couples are after they say “I do”
After the wedding at the park we went on to Times Square for some more fantastic photos.

Can I just say how much I love these??? So happy we had them made.

during our anniversary month.
This brave bride walked in open toe sandals thru the sleet after a snow storm hit us. 🙂
Last night our Governor, Andrew Cuomo signed the bill that made same sex marriage legal in New York State.
In celebration and support the Empire State building turned on the Rainbow lights.
We were asked today if we do winter weddings?…………………. Yeah!!! Ofcourse we do 🙂
Snow, sleet, rain, blizzards…. if we can get there we will do them.
This in NYC we are used to all kinds of weather.
No matter what we keep on going plus working in snow is lots of fun!

Love this location for small intimate weddings. Toby and Katja planned their elopement with us in less than a month. They flew in from Dubai.
The bride’s shoes were killing her feet so she took the off! haha and was barefoot for most of it.
Stillettos will do that to a bride. 🙂

Today we had a very nice wedding at the Ladies Pavilion. It was another last minute wedding. The couple had planned a holiday in our great city and decided to get married while they were here… so a week or so before they arrived we were contacted.
The couple traveled by themselves and it was my pleasure to serve as their witness.
It was cold, but the sun was out and it was a beautiful day!
I think the area looked absolutely beautiful with the bare branches and the sun shinning the way it was.
Some couples worry about being at the park in the winter. Its true it can be cold, but the scenery is soo worth it.
